Preferred Rate:

8% of penal amount Will be charged when one or more of the following conditions are met:

1. Full cash collateral or its equivalent or real property with an equity of no less than 150% of the penal amount and the full premium is paid by the time of execution of bond.
2. Defendant has retained private counsel at the time of execution of bond.
3. Defendant or a Co-Signor is a union member or a member of The American Association of Retired People (AARP) .
4. Defendant or a Co-Signor is in active duty or a veteran of The US Military.

Standard Rate:

10% of penal amount will be charged if credit is given on payment of premium or when real property collateral does not meet the required amounts for preferred bail or when collateral is other than real property or when two or more Co-Signers are given who do not reside at the same address.
